Sarcoidosis presenting as progressive ascending lower extremity weakness and asymptomatic meningitis with hypoglycorrhachia
Autor(es): Godwin J E,Sahn S A
Resumo: A 26-year-old man developed progressive weakness over a two-month period. His chest radiograph showed diffuse interstitial infiltrates, and transbronchial lung biopsies demonstrated noncaseating granulomas consistent with sarcoidosis. Sarcoid neuropathy should be considered in the differential diagnosis of the patient presenting with an atypical Landry-Guillain-Barré syndrome.
