Resumo: A 43-year-old woman diagnosed with pure movement Guillain-Barré syndrome accompanied by conduction block without accompanied by ataxia or sensory disturbance, with a preceding infection of upper respiratory symptoms. Two weeks after the start of combination therapy of mass immunoglobulin and steroid mini pulse, limb muscle strength improved and conduction block finding disappeared. IgG anti-GD1b antibody was single positive in the serum. Although anti-GD1b antibody has been reported to be related to ataxia and sensory disorders from the past, in this case there was a difference in specificity of the antibody against GD1b, and it was inferred that there is a difference in the appearance of these antibodies.
