ResumoThe event plans to continue the success of the first editions held in 2016 (Porto Alegre) and 2019 (Rio de Janeiro). This edition will have its scope expanded to include our colleagues from Portugal and Spain (ibero-american edition). A special section on free-space (and other) optical sensors is also being planned. The Workshop will have a structure like the European Workshop on Optical Fibre Sensors (EWOFS), focusing on intense interaction among participants, enabling debate on new concepts, technologies and applications of photonic sensing, allowing interaction between research groups from Brazil, Latin and Ibero America, and enhancing future collaborations in R&D projects.
