Resumo: Two cases of HIV infection associated with Guillain-Barré syndrome are described. The neurologic symptoms started 1 week and 20 weeks, respectively, after the primary HIV infection. Seroconversion for anti-HIV occurred during the disease. A rapid spread of virus to the central nervous system was shown.
