ResumoClinical recovery started in 23 children with Guillain-Barré syndrome after a mean time of 19 days and to full recovery in 15 was 6.2 months. Long term follow up indicated that 19 with acute onset had completely recovered clinically and three with subacute onset had a chronic relapsing or protracted course.
