Resumo: From these results, it is concluded that the original mouse brain-passaged virus seed contained two types of viruses, fast- and slow-growing types, and the latter was predominant in the seed. Furthermore, it is most likely that the fast-growing type of virus becomes predominant by selection during repeated passages through VERO cell cultures.
