Contribuição ao livre acesso da literatura científica em ciência espacial: implementação da política de auto-arquivamento na biblioteca digital do INPE.

Resumo: Resumo: O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar os diversos aspectos da implementação do auto-arquivamento na Biblioteca (Arquivo) Digital do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). Entre eles, destacam-se o uso do software URLibService como plataforma para o Arquivo, a caracterização dos diversos tipos de publicação admitidos no Arquivo (incluindo ePrints) e o envolvimento do próprio autor/pesquisador na submissão do seus trabalhos (incluindo artigos em eventos organizados pela instituição). Dados levantados a partir do Arquivo, mostram que o envolvimento do autor está apenas começando. Abstract: Self-archiving implementation within the Digital Library (Archive) of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). Among them, stand out the use of the URLibService software as a platform for the Archive, the characterization of the various types of publications admitted within the Archive (including ePrints) and the involvement of the proper author/researcher in the submission of their works (including papers in event organized by the institution). Data extracted from the Archive shown that the author involvement is just beginning.
