Evaluation of N-toluyl piperidine as an effective repellent against Aedes aegypti (L)

Resumo: Five chemicals viz. dimethyl phthalate, p-diethyl toluamide, n-diethyl toluamide, N-benzoyl pipendme and N-toluyl piperidine were tested for complete as well as 50 per cent repellency against Aedes aegypti (L). N-toluyl piperidine was found to be more effective than others, and it produced 16 h of complete repellency and 28 h of 50 per cent repellency
