Guillain-Barré syndrome after vaccination with human diploid cell rabies vaccine.
Autor(es): Bøe E.; Nyland H.
Resumo: A 14-year-old boy developed an acute Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) 14 days after receiving the second prophylactic dose of human diploid cell rabies vaccine. The symmetrical sensorimotor polyneuropathy included bilateral facial weakness. GBS after vaccination with human diploid cell rabies vaccine must be extremely rare, and has not hitherto been reported.
