Acute hepatitis B presenting as Guillain-Barré syndrome.

Resumo: Guillain-Barré syndrome associated with acute hepatitis B virus infection is rare. We report a 56-year-old man who presented as Guillain-Barré syndrome in the absence of icterus and was subsequently shown to have acute hepatitis B. He improved on conservative therapy.
