Use of intravenous immunoglobulin in neurological disorders

Resumo: The use of intravenous immunglobulin in the treatment of Guillain-Barré-Syndrome, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy and multifocal motor neuropathies is well established. Other conditions, such as dysglobulinemic neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis and inclusion body myositis may also benefit from the administration of intravenous immunoglobulins.
